So I received some not-so promising news today from a friend of mine who spoke to a Poo rep at Hay Days last weekend. He has a Khaos 850 slash on order and asked a rep (no idea what their name is or what they do at Polaris) about shipping this fall- the rep was pretty tight-lipped, but seemed to indicate, off the record, it would be a small miracle if he received his snow check before end of year.

Thanks for the recent, sort of, good news concerning snow check deliveries. I'm hoping the rep wasn't tuned in to the reality of what's going on inside the factory. Of course, we won't know how it all shakes out until months from now.

I am really getting sick of companies and people stating that they are having a hard time getting products or supplies. When are 'supplies' going to be back in stock? The machines to make the products are still there, the raw materials are still available, people are still out there that know how to make the products. When is the world going to get back to work and stop sitting on their butts home and collecting checks! Covid is a dam virus! A dam harsh cold......period. Get your dam vaccination, clean your dam hands and get your butt back to work and start making shit!!! I've had it. Stop blaming a dam virus for not having a product. Here's a thought......start making shit here in the US like we did until people got greedy and stop relying on foreign countries to make your cheap ass supplies. AAAAHHHHH!!

if this stuff were made in the US the wait for parts would be astronomical. We can't get people to work in restaurants , bars, stores, last week there were 40+ cargo ships off the coast of California just sitting there because there aren't enough people to unload them.

I deal with manufacturers in and out of the US and there's not a lot of good news coming out of any of them but the US ones seem to be dealing more with work shortages while the international ones are dealing more with catching up on backlog. Demand is high and has been so everything has been piling up, if you're further down the supply chain you could be waiting on 5-10 other companies that all have their own backlog... it just piles up

My bud and I talked directly to one of the engineers of the RMK turbo. He told us that he was "very confident" that my buds new turbo would be here before the end of the year.

Not saying he's telling the truth, but thats what he told us face to face. Chatted with him for a good bit.

Yup, stop paying people to stay home twice what they made at their previous job, #socialism

Don't let the hysteria get to you. Its alway quiet this time of year. Getting a sled delivered by Polaris before October is almost unheard of for the top of line models. Sure old iron sometimes come in earlier but the big volume sleds never are out by now. Glass half full way of looking at it.......at least the Polaris reps didn't spend all of Haydays talking about major delays. All I heard from the thread on this board was that sleds are being built and they are hopeful to have everything delivered by xmas. That's no different then every other year with Polaris.

Let's get back on topic. There were suppose to be a few guys who "dealer confirmed 8/9 shipping" etc yet it's awfully quiet in here. I suspect alot of hot air.
I've been thinking the same thing. Just crickets chirping in the background.

Polaris has already showed signs they are building sleds. The posted a picture on social median of 850 engines showing up in Rosseau about a month ago. Its happening, the biggest factor will likely be shipping at this point. Can they get them all delivered to dealers by XMAS. The way they ships sleds has never made since in the past.....so who knows which region will get sleds first.
