These have a Projected tip with a flat Nickel 2.5 mm center electrode with a 5k resistor.
For those who want
solid terminal BPR8ES spark plugs without the screw-off terminal nut, order NGK# 95521. In aluminum head, 18-22 lb. ft. installation torque is recommended.

This is a little hotter spark plug: BPR8ES. It is Polaris part# 3024357, It has helped some sleds with fouling issues.

These have a Projected tip with a flat Nickel 2.5 mm center electrode with a 10k resistor.
For those who want solid terminal BPR9ES spark plugs without the screw-off terminal nut, order NGK# 7788. In aluminum head, 18-22 lb. ft. installation torque is recommended.

Some sleds that had problems with plug fouling have been improved with the Non-Projected V-Cut plug:

== STORAGE
Polaris is introducing a new storage mounting system along with the Matryx snowmobiles. It is called the
Lock & Ride Flex system.
At this time they have M2 passenger seats and 5 storage bags that mount on the flat tunnel behind the driver's seat and attach to the tunnel.
The MY21 Matryx sleds have 2 pair of these Lock & Ride Flex attaching points on the tunnel.
The M2 passenger seat needs 1 pair to attach. The Adventure storage bags use 2 pair to attach. The Sport storage bags use 1 pair to attach. The MY22 M2 Journey bag uses 1 pair to attach. So at this time, you can attach 1 M2 passenger seat and 1 Sport storage, OR 1 Adventure/Sport/Journey storage bag, OR 2 Sport storage bags. In addition, on the Matryx 136/137/146 you can attach 1 M2 passenger seat and 1 M2 Journey Bag, OR a Sport storage bag and 1 M2 Journey bag. Polaris is working on racks, but they are not announced at this time.
2884939 Adapter Retrofit kit to mount Lock & Ride Flex storage accessories on AXYS or PRO-RIDE or Matryx Mountain snowmobiles with full flat tunnels & T-Slot Tunnel Attachment System in the top of that tunnel. It is a wide piece that mounts into the T-Slots and provides the sockets for the feet/tabs on the bottom front of Lock & Ride Flex storage to fit into.
This is not compatible with attaching the M2 passenger seat. $29US avail

== WINDSHIELDS
Sleds ordered with Hand Guards come with what is often CALLED a Low Windshield, but probably should be called a Colored Trim Piece or Bezel.
All the TRUE windshields, including the 2889405 MY22 Matryx RMK (Deep Snow) Low Smoke Windshield,
attach to a Colored Trim piece or Bezel (sometimes called a low windshield to make things more confusing) via push nuts and pins. These push nuts are not very easy to remove. However they ARE EASY to LOSE!
If I was going to change Windshields more than once, I think I would get a second Colored Trim piece or Bezel, and just leave it attached to the second Windshield. Then changing would be quick and easy.
Just 3 or 5 large plastic stubs going into large rubber grommets in the hood. No tools at all.
I suggest you take a look at this article and video from Polaris, to see what is involved in changing Matryx windshields.
Matryx Windshield Installation
To install these 6 push nuts, I use a small deep socket to push them down like an o-ring going over the pin. You could also use a small box end wrench to push them down evenly, squarely over the pin.
To remove these push nuts, most folks use an assortment of words, that I do not know how to spell.
These Windshields fit all Matryx, Flatland or Mountain.

When installing, the angle is made greater to get the long leg over the roller or slider. It may approach 160 degrees when suspension is fully collapsed.

You cannot interchange torsion springs from different families, without some modification of the rear suspension.

I thought I heard that there was supposed to be 30% better cooling for the Matryx chassis now? Anyone have the details on how they are accomplishing this? Looking up in the tunnel - the inside edges of the coolers are now squared off vs. rounded on the 2019-2020 chassis. Other than that...

The SBA 146 tunnel protector also has a foot long hifax only at the back and it is 0.67" high/tall and 0.76" wide. It is fastened to the aluminum tunnel protector, above the track.
