Anyone know yet when Madge Lake drags are going to be ?

Phoned Duck Mountain Lodge this morning, and the Madge Lake drags are January 14th.

More information would be great. If they are on the 14th, I think that's a Sunday and I just might be able to make it. I'm desperate to get some testing in before Wetaskiwin on the 20-21st and Madge Lake might just be the ticket. If anyone can post details or where they can be had that would be excellent. Don't want to drive 10-11 hours and not have the right info!

Is there allot of snow over there ? How many hrs drive from WPG ?
Registration ? Race fee's ? classes, time ??....many questions, few answers. :dunno:

there is lots of snow. the ducks had the most snow in the province for a while. but after some parts of the south got that dump last week they now have more. the snow map on the home page is way off on some parts. i was in the ducks this past 2 weeks and there is more than 25-30cm on the ground. theres more like 2 feet. madge always has good races and its always fun to watch and race.

Just south of Edmonton. They hold a large 2 day race, probably the largest snow drag in western Canada.
