They wont sell them until the end of the season as they are rentals and will have 6000 + kms.

The do have some pre-production R&D sleds that they will sell now but they have no warranty or anything.[/b]
There had to be a catch.
Rental?
That's more than a "catch", that's a "cum on, you shittin' ne black!"

Oh well, back to looking Stateside.

I talked to these guys a few years ago. Back then they mainly dealt with Polaris sleds. I looked at a 2003 Pro X 700. The prices are reasonable - but they are rentals. So - you get what you get.

They deliver them and MOST of their sales go to the USA and I believe are then resold. So when looking at used sleds in the US (from used sled dealers, cycle trader ads) beware. You could very well just be buying one of these units moved across the border.

They are a "Dealer" so PST and GST apply.

With this weather the "Cheap Cross border" Pro X2 upgrade looks better everyday!!

And a rental would be bad this year...why????[/b]
If you are referring to my comment - what I meant was. I was able to go from an 01 Edge 600 to a 04 Pro X2 600 that I bought in the states this fall for less than a grand - ALL IN!! Basically - I HAD to buy it - it was such a good deal!

With the new baby at home a new IQ 600 HO CFI just did not make any sense - just would not get ridden enough.

Now - with the lack of snow - It would only be worse to have a new sled sitting in the garage.

These sleds are located way up in Quebec. I would imagine they will still get lots of mileage on them even in a really bad winter.

Give it 3 weeks and the dealers will be blowing stuff out.

I don't think I'd ever buy a rental. I know how myself and my staff treat rental equipment.

I got a pic here somewhere of a skidsteer I rented once. Got a tow truck to pull it out. Had to beat the cage with a sledge to get it working again. Called the rental place to pick it up and never said a word. Not one of my best moments.
