My dealer told me not to take these apart that they have to them be synced up at the dealer once apart? In the past I would clean the valves every 1000 miles but was told not to touch them on the new Patriot 850?

Can you give any further input on this?

Just dont mess with length of cable. Just loosen cable bolt with 17mm enough to get cable off by valve motor. Do valve learn next time you go to dealer. Nothing to worry about

Heater is an interesting idea. My phone battery has always been fine in the bag as long as its plugged in and charging.

Are you going to change the heater plug to USB?

I might rather have the heater in the windshield bag as my Gatorade still gets slushy in there.

I got a new helmet this year for cold weather days that has a heated visor. Still need to install Polaris 2883824 RCA PWR PLUG kit.

Actually im not using any of the USB stuff or harness. HAHA I just wanted the bag. I already added a usb port long time ago

I ditched all the USB stuff from kit. Just using the bag and heater.

Put the heater element in the zippered pocket and ran wire through hole for power..

Install splitter on the power plug under steering. I just had the visor plug on it before. Never use it but ill keep it incase someone rides my sled with a visor.

I also got the connector kit from catsazz.net so i could put it directly on the RCA cord and cut it to length needed. All i have to do is plug it into the new Y splitter
