388 miles on my F-7, parked her in the garage and the next day noticed a puddle under the front drivers/chaincase. Stuck my finger in it and gave her a whiff, sure enough it had that unmistakable odour of gear oil. Does not surprise me as I have seen other new Cats do the same thing, I guess its the Arctic Cat workmanship and care to detail. Has anyone else had this problem? I think its the bottom o-ring (driver bearing), but I won't know until I flip her up on her side, remove the chaincase cover and gears and check it out. Its really not to hard to fix, but I'd rather be riding than wrenching.

I will pick up my zl 600 on wed. 341 miles and the chain case
started to leek . It was the o ring for the case cover.
Had it fixed under war. 383 on the f7 and no leeks yet.

Our sons F-5 had to have the jackshaft bearings (o-rings were bad) replaced after the first time out. It seems fine so far now.

Same problem here on my F7. Took to dealer for a couple of the recalls and had them fix it. There is an o-ring there that doesn't seal well, so cat puts silicone to fix it. Seems pretty cheesy to me, but all is well now. I'll definitely be keeping an i on it!
