04 F7`s will have better graphics (that stick) better cooling(without trapped air), better seat (no ice build up), bolts and nuts will be all loctited in place, recoil rope will be cable, storage compartment will be able to hold a bottle of pop, spark plug and oil caddy under the hood, tumb and hand warmer controls will be on the left hand side, snow flap will be stiffer, foot wells will have grip plates built on, other than that they will be about the same!!!! :p  :D
just kidding, I love my F7 and with just a few small improvments the 04 should be one hell of a sled, I can`t wait to see them! :D

The 04 firecats will be de-tuned. They will not be available with EFI. Arctic Cat has to figure out some major problems. Bottom line...the 04's will be slow.

Zr 900 is supposed to be E.F.I. with direct drive
which in turn increase track H.P. and torque by
a whopping 20%!!The 660 4 stroke is said to be
turbocharged and H.P. increased to the 120 range.
Never heard any thing else if I do I will post.
P.S. he said no direct drive for the `7 and did say that
the 900 will still use the Zr chassic with a hood that
is to look like the F series.

CanadianblackF7 ... sorry to burst your bubble, but GLS already stated the 2004 Firecats will NOT be de-tuned. Don't be starting rumors ... you're just fueling the Ski-Doo, Polaris, and Yami riders out there.

EFI is CERTAINLY NOT going away. If anything, EFI will be offered in MORE sleds.

I say all Firecats will come with either a carb'd or EFI version, same HP numbers, and overall quality issues addressed (starter rope, coolant air bubble, oil pump, etc.).

Whatever it is going to be, IT WILL BE BETTER. This sled can only get better. It doesn't have far to go at that.

I would wait to make up your mind about a snow check in case there will be a big surprise!!!!!

Yeah, I aint buying the no EFI bit. Too much R&D in it and I don't see what is wrong. I think the F7 would have sold more numbers if it was offered with both, the carb and EFI option. Some guys like to tinker and do not want the EFI getting in the way. I personally am thrilled with my EFI, being the first sled I have owned with it, it is nice.
