cat usually has the air cooled sleds right on the ragged edge from past experiences(not meaning ragged as in life ending), with past jetting both up and down, very little(2 mph) difference was seen on radar, jetting down lost mph! if you are having any loading up problems first check oil pump setting, THEN if still necessary, lay a set of nology ''hotwires'' to it, you'll be pleasantly surprised
I ran 260 main jets before the motor work, and it was perfect a nice cadboard colour. Believe i went down two jet sizes. However with that i could only run 87-89 octane anything higher and it would go lean.
