Well, it's a done deal. I placed he order for my F6 EFI on saturday. I ordered the team arctic graphics. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else spring ordered yet. The reason I ask is that I thoiught it was no money down, no payment , no interest until 2004, or a 2 year warranty. We, I've bought new Cats before, but never in the spring. My dealer said I needed to put $300.00 down (I wasn't too suprised by that...but what happened to no money down?) I told him I wanted the finance deal over the warranty. But he tells me I have to pay in full upon pickup (in October) if I don't use cat financing (which has WAY too high a interest rate). I thought that I could secure my own financing & pay for the sled that way, as long as it ws by 12/31/03. My wife didn't seem to get it either. Am I getting hosed? Or do I just not get it? Maybe I should call & tell him I want the extra year or warranty instead. Help!

Congrats man! Welcome to the club! You will never forget that feeling of picking up your brand new F6! Problem is, how will you be able to wait all summer long? I would pull all my hair out!

If you are using your own financing you get the 2 year warranty. The $300 is standard for pre season orders. If you decide you dont want the sled you lose the cash unless you are cool with the dealer. I f you sled comes in lets say june first (not likely) you dont have to pay for it untill sept 10th I think. If it comes in after that you have 10 days from the time the sled reaches the dealer.

Thanks for the help, GF. I got more out of you than my dealer. Why do they talk so fast? I ordered it from Nielsen's in Lake Villa Ill. I bought my current sled (00 zr 500) from them too. Great price on the sled :D Now I just gotta straighten out my salesman

I think the problem is that they understand it and because of that dont realise they need to explain it better. Also if they say too much they may lose the sale/scare you off. My dealer doesnt want to sell you something you dont want, need, or cant afford. He really looks out for his customers. Hey...who knows maybe the salesman doesnt understand it either

I spring ordered a f6 efi Nightfire, took the 2 year warranty. (I'm Pumped) Their financing is a marketing tool - usally for people who have a hard time getting there own financing - hence the higher rate. Get your own financing = (lower rate and you can take the 2 year warranty!)

F6 TEAM ARCTIC,

Who is your salesman? That is where I bought my sled from last November. Awesome salesman, great service department, and the whole kit and caboodle! The called me and informed me that my sled had updates and did them in a couple hours while I waited. All and all I would rate my experience a 9 out of 10 there and would definately buy another sled from there! Loved the service and good prices! I don't have to tell you that I guess!

My salesmans name was Jerry Coia. I purchased my 2000 ZR from him, too. I live in Milwaukee, and they beat everybody here in the metro Milwaukee area on prices big time. Their service has been good to me, too. It's not that far of a drive for me , about 50 or 60 miles. Well worth it for the money I saved! :D Thanks for all the well wishes on my new sled, everybody! Is it winter yet?
