Once there was a post about the easiest way to install reeds in the F7. Anyone remember where it was. Or, what have you guys found is the easiest way to put them in.

Without pulling the motor of course.

Thanks.

I also found this on D & D's website.

Thanks.

When installing the reeds in the F-7..1st first remove the pipe and Y pipe from sled.2nd.Next unclip oil injection arm by holding the throttle open and snap off with a screw driver.3rd.loosen clamps on throttle bodies and pull them out from boots(no need to remove airbox)..Zip tie throttle bodies up to powervavle cables to keep out of the way while removing bolts from boots..You will need to lightly pry engine over to get one bolt out on the pto side..4th Cut off stock reed stuffers on boots and reinstall using a gasket on both side of reeds..5th install throttle bodie back in boots making sure intake side is also in the air box boot.6. install Y-pipe and pipe and tighten all nuts and install pipe spring...For tech call 315-376-9474

They are not fun to put in. Plan on cut fingers! To make it easier, take the airbox out. It is held in by one screw in the from and it just flips out. This makes it easier to remove/install the throttle bodies, source of cut fingers.
