I have the kit on my 129, I’ve found it does much more for the entire ride quality than just preventing bottoming. As posted trails are getting smoother to some degree but in return it seems stutters are a more common occurrence which to me the pro-Cc lacks in. With the linkage this thing glides over them, I’ve also seen an increase in cornering performance while allowing a looser set up on the transfer blocks for a more spirited ride. I started on a stock Cc rear shock going by the description and revalve recommendations but late in the season situation and wasn’t to thrilled at first. I went onto using a stock XCR rear shock with stiffer rebound and was blown away with the ride and handling. I did get a Hygear revalved rear shock in after the season and it sure seems even more stiffer than the cc one I was testing but I’ll give it a go. I also found I was able to soften my front track shock up some.
