Is anyone using their super tuner clutch weights from Hurricane? How do they perform?

Ordered them today along with the Hurricane Hindle exhaust.
Saw good reports on TY and some actual test results posted there.
I likely will not go beyond a 270 tune so I think they will be fine.

Dave says the Supertips are better for the 280 HP flashes as hard to get enough weight in the Supertuners.

with miles...they get straight pipe loud..maybe they are repackable?..and the feature that makes them be able to run without a tune (which part blocks the wastegate port) makes it make less power when turned up compared to other choices...but if you keep it relatively close to stock boost...you'd be fine..

Not accurate,
Dave uses the same Hurricane-Hindle right up to the 280 race tune.

There is less flow thru the wastegate at higher power levels and more thru the turbine. The Hurricane flange actually gets more efficient at higher power levels and becomes less important flowing thru the turbine more efficiently.

Also, its the same re-packable core, basic flow thru design and packing as the Excell muffler that you tout to be quiet.????????

Are you guys insinuating it flows as well or better than say a 3 inch wide open design? I say no way Jose... just like that same 3" could never run on a stock tune... too free flowing will over boost... so if this won't over boost same scenario... less flow..
Are you saying this is what you and all the hurricane tuned guys will be running ? I haven't seen that at all.. almost all the big tuned hurricane guys are running anything but it? ... and yes... the hindle body mufflers get loud.... well known fact... and no the excell isn't the same.... other than if the hindle is rebuildable like the excell.... and the big mile machines on the excell exhaust haven't reported louder... but again I'm sure he can repack it which is a nice feature

Where do I say it flows the same as a 3" wide open design? Nowhere do I or anyone else suggest that here.

I'm saying the Hurricane-Hindle makes as much power as it needs to and flows all the way up to a 280 HP race tune with ease, along with working well making 16 HP on a bone stocker. The flange does not hurt it but actually helps it make better power and flow.

You said it doesn't work well with the higher HP tunes as the flange is a restriction, and its been proven that it does, fact is there is less flow thru the waste gate as the boost comes up and does nothing to hurt performance, but actually helps it. The 280 HP Hurricane tune is with the Hurricane-Hindle and must flow very well as the boost is right where it belongs for the power being made. AND it does so using a smaller dia. pipe also staying quieter using that smaller pipe along with the CFM needed to flow big power tunes.

And yes, I'll be running this Hurricane-Hindle or Dave's new stock hi-flow replacement muffler which has proven to flow 300 HP worth of power, AND is within 10 HP of a straight pipe! I could care less what anyone else runs.
