I currently have 102 studs in my F7. I would like to add more studs. 102 is just not enough. They are all bent. Is there another pattern similar to the 102 pattern for me to use? In other words, can I use the existing holes and just add more? Maybe use some double backers to add more studs??

So I went to the Woody’s web site and it looks like their 170 stud pattern will allow me to reuse most of the holes from the 102 pattern. Has anybody gone from 102 studs to 170? I am curious how the patterns line up.

The one thing you could do is double up studs where tunnel clearance is not a problem.

That is kind of what I was thinking…using double backers. I just want to make sure I create new scratch lines when adding the studs.

you can also check out www.studboytraction.com to see if it will work with your exsisting pattern.

but if you originally used woodys they i would think the 153 or 170 will work in to your current pattern. I cant say for sure my tempalte is at home.

I too would like to add to my 102 stud pattern on my 04 f6 standard. I am wondering where there are tunnel clearance problems???
