I bet the weight difference between a tripple pipe triple 2 stroke is very little compared to a 998 turbo. And we know the 998 will take some big power and last a lot longer. Just an observation for those disappointed they didn't get the TPT2S they are craving.

 

Hopefully it’s known for speed and becomes legendary just like the ‘03 chaincase F7 was. The 858 engine designation really takes me back to the 90’s when Doo had their 377/467LC/521/583/617/670 engine lineups. The odd engine sizes made those models sound more badass to me.

 

Let’s not forgot that the Polaris 840 is actually an 840cc and runs pretty damn good. Another 18cc isn’t much but it’s there. Take my money arctic cat.

 

11 percent more then there 800 , last 800 to dyno at dyno tech stock was 155 so 170 ish , its there with the 9R ........

When you consider the weight, new Adapt clutch, belt drive and steering that’s so lite it feels like power steering, this thing is going to be handful for the competition. Lets hope Cat has built in good longevity for the engine and that the drive system proves to be reliable and work as well as expected. I think we have a winner but time will tell.

 

From what I see so far I like the looks of the new gauge package.
It has that El-tigre styling Backdrop, And…. NO cell coverage needed !! Kudo’s to Cat !!

 

Cat has certainly spent some money, glad to see they are answering to what many have been asking for. Has already brought back much excitement to my "cat" buddies that are riding other manufacturers units currently. I bet they get most of those guys back, good news!

 

I wish I was able to participate in the new sled market, but, doesn't a September '23 roll out for a MY 25 sled seem like a long introduction? Get some of these on snow for people this year Cat!
