Running way too lean. It's an 03 F5 with 380 mains and moved the needles up two slots and still way too lean. Plugs are white. Only mods are ods clutch and larger 440 intake. Anybody know whats up? Suppose to leave for ride at 7am tomorrow.

How about your intake boots, any tears or rips, look real good. Carbs mounted all the way in the boots.

try getting the sled running and spray carb cleaner or starting fluid on the base gaskets and carb boots ect. if there is an air leak then the idle should jump alittle.

maybe a crank seal dried out and cracked, not likely but worth a check.

Where is it lean? Idle? 1/4 throttle? 1/2 throttle? 3/4 throttle? full open? or all? Depending on that answer, a main jet, needle jet, pilot jet, etc. (not in that order) might be plugged with dirt.

... but I would guess your grabbing air from a bad gasket, boot seat, etc. The starting fluid should detect that. If it's not that, need to look at my first sentence.

check for air bubble just before the oil pump. was the sled on its side (specifically the PTO side) at all during the off season or something or before ou found the plugs to be white?

Maybe go back to the stock intake. Too much air?
