I damaged one of my pistons. Cylinder is fine but I need to replace 1 piston and am trying to avoid purchasing the entire kit. The problem is I bought the sled used and don't know what reliability kit was installed. It's a long shot but hoping someone recognizes it from the pics.

They look like SPI t moly pistons. I've used those many times. Doing one right now in fact. For your engine I would replace them both. A set of SPI will run you $230.

Ah sorry, that makes a difference. Those could be cat pistons, or a number of others.

Unless that was a set bought before 2016-ish, that probably isn't ours. I have done three updates on our cast Durability piston and Generation 2,3 and 4 have all had MCB cnc'd on the top. Ours is most certainly not a generic CAT piston.

Another way to tell is if the spacer plate is steel...definitely not our kit.
