Yes, you may want the extra heavy duty if your carrying a bag on the tunnel, with gear on your 300-305 all day long.

 

Recommend the HD springs. The springs that come stock are rated for app 185lbs. Have the HD springs on my 2023 650 Indy Adventure…and I am not the weight of an anorexic supermodel. Happy with how rides. Congrats on your new sled…we always like pics😊

have less preload, but a higher rate than the Heavy Duty springs.

They have MUCH less preload, but a higher rate than the Extra Heavy Duty springs.

 

I am 6'1" 285 and the HD springs are perfect for MN average rider. Maybe hardcore western riding woud benefit from stiffer XHD.

 

At 285# the rear will just fold with the HD springs on high G transitions hits.

 

I'm 6' 3" 285 and went with the HD springs and was pleased with the results.running the 2nd block position.rarely bottoming.3rd pos on the block was to much ski pressure.unless your jumping doubles
