Merry christmas and HELP!
I picked the wife up a 97 z440 this year and I'm in the middle of installing heated grips and thumb warmer.
The previous owner put hooked bars on it and did not put warmers on it, every thing is on it now but the wires to the switch were not hooked up so I have no idea wich wire goes to wich terminal.
I have a yellow wire(powre I think),2 brown wires that go into the same plug,a green wire,and of course the black wires that go to the warmers.
Any one got an idea what the brown and green wires are for (one of them should go to the light in the dash but I'm not sure.
any help would be good.

If nobody can tell you what the wires do exatly, the best thing for you to do is to get a test light and figure out the wires yourself.

When you do get the warmers on make sure the circut can handle the extra load.
