Yesterday morning i was putting my sled on the trailer and my hand hit the brake lever switching on the high beams, i heard something pop off and look down and see the piece connected to the brake lever popped off, the switch still works but its very easy, i tried to put it back on but it doesnt stay in, anyone have this happen to them, and how can i fix it or will i have to bring it to the dealer??

Mines been missing since 03. Actually had to take it out to install thr Acerbis style hand guard mounts. Its a spring loaded plunger to prevent the dimmer switch from actuating so easily. It just snaps into place unless something broke when it popped out. Not a real big deal IMO but if its still under warranty take it in to get fixed.

mine is a '04 and it popped off also, the little tabs that hold it on are what broke.there is alot of pressure for those little tabs.got a new one in a couple of weeks and it was covered by the warranty.my new one looks like it might not last to much longer.

Wouldn't you be able to superglue this piece back in when it breaks? I would think you could just put a litlle drop of superglue where the tabs use to be, while holding it in its place.
