I ride a '02 600 Classic with an M10 suspension. I'm 6'3" 285 lbs.

I cannot seem to adjust my headlight high enough. When I am on low beam I just can't see far enough ahead. I even changed bulbs to the Silver star.

I was thinking of softening my suspension to drop the back of the sled, hence the angle of the headlight would be better to solve my problem, but... I do not really want to scarafice ride comfort. I was thinking maybe my shocks and/or front springs need to be replaced, but would that really bring up the front of my sled?

Does anyone have a tip, trick or modification to aim headlights so the beam is higher??? Is there any spacers on mounting bolts or something that I can do to the light to give me a better angle for more lit distance ?

Thanks

Check the spring that is under the adjustment knob. Mine was rusted badly and would not push the light assembly up. I put a stronger spring in mine.
