TODAY MY BACK FEELS LIKE IT IS BROKEN. I HAVE 1200 MILES ON MY SLED AND HAD THE SHOCK RECHARGED TWICE, NO MATTER HOW I SET IT UP IT STILL IS HARSH AS HELL. ANY INFO WOULD HELP. WOULD REBUILDING MY SHOCK HELP ANY AND HAVING IY VALVED DIFFERENTLY.
how much do you weigh? if you are over 180 you need heavier springs. also do not just recharge shock as that is a waste of time, it needs to be rebuilt. change the oil and use maxima medium shock oil. if you want to cure the shock problem for $240 you can put an ohlins rear shock in it. it has stiffer valving and won't need any service for at least 4000 miles. if you want a shock with a resivoir ohlins has one and it has compression and rebound damping and that costs $490, either one will keep you out of the shop and riding happy.
