They make a great heatsink! Fill the bars with an aerosol foam insulation. Make sure you allow the foam to cure before installing the grip. It expands as it cures. This won't make the warmers effective as with steel bars, but it'll make a difference.
You could also put a layer of electrical tape under the elements, that helps insulate the bars from the heat. I run Fly Aero-Tapers and a Fly billet riser on my sled. Remember that a taper style bar will require an adapter clamp set up or the Fly riser.
