Well I am wiring in some hand warmer elements to the new bars I installed on the firecat. The elements I bought were from the skidoo dealership so the wire colors are different. The Cat has 1 green, 1 Yellow, 1 Black wire. I assume the black wire is ground, so will it matter which wire I connect to what on the element? I tried hooking up my volt meter to the cat wires but my meter is broken, so I come to you for your knowledge on these wires. The skidoo element wire colors are 1 yel-blk, 1 orange- purpl, 1 orange. I dont think that matters much as long as I can figure out which wire on the cat is carring the most volts out of the two. Anybody have any knowledge on the wires around here? thanks

Theres 2 seperate elements in each grip. Yellow is 12 volts for each element. Green is ground for the medium temp element. Black is the ground for the low element. Firecats have 3 temp settings. They get high setting by turning on both elements at the same time. Hope this helps.
