I'm curious what you're running for an exhaust setup, gearing, clutching, jetting, and if you're using the stock air box assembly. See my reply to this thread for my information. http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/inde...howtopic=194492

Just trying to gauge if I'm on track. I know with all the custom details on each sled, it will be difficult to compare setups but non-the-less, I can at least ask what you're running. :)

Eric, i'm surprized at how low your jets are. Who's 660 are you running, what is the compression at? Last year, I ran a Carl's 660 in my Pro XR 136" with SLP twins. I ran 460/470 for jets with a tempaflow. I ran 22-40 gearing, almond/red, 10-62 weights and I ran a button secondary. This year i'm dropping the 660 into an IQ with a 136". I'm using the stock airbox, I cut out all the vents in the hood and adding vents to the sides and shock towers. I'm going to try a set of SLP race pipes. Im' going to try and run the same gearing and clutching as last year. I have Team secondary to try out this year too, i'll play around with that once I get it all dailed in.

It's a hand built 660, not a kit. I don't know the compression, but it doesn't much matter either way. The 350 main jets are working out great so far. I rode in about 20 degree weather today. You'll have to jet down considerably with the IQ airbox. I'd expect you'll be using 370's at a bare minimum. Don't be scared to jet down. Let me know your results. I'm still working on clutching, but it is getting very, very close.

im running a carls cycle 660 in a 600 ves with twins in a proxr. im running 10-62 weights, pink primary and i dont remember the secondary, i have it all written down i have to go look. im thinking im not quite getting full shift though, i have 23/40 gears and im only pulling around 90, according the MPH calculator i should be running 100. i never go that fast but it would be nice to get full shift and gear down to run 85 to 90

My 660HO kit from carls, i had my carbs bored and here is the jetting they set it at for 0-3000
440 mains, vm22/210 #55 jet pilot, and air jet pilot .09

Recommed 66/44 secondary, they also say to try 70/46 - 68/46

Sounds like almond primary or almond/red (i'm going to consult with AKIQ when he gets time)
i'm going to try 10-64's

Mine is a 136 with 1.5 track. SLP 600HO pipe

Do you have any time on this setup yet, or is it new this year? I've heard 440 mains, but for the IQ, Pro-X or XC chassis'. I've read that the IQr chassis 660's like alot smaller mains...like 350-370's.
