I used to ride there like 2 years ago. Stayed at the katadin view motel in the super suite (place is NICE). The trails sucked though when we went up so we will never go there for trail riding again. I ride around pittsburgh NH, jackman, eustis area alot and millinocket

The trails in Greenvile are just fine, you must have gone on a weeken that there was somthing big going on up there, thats when yours upposed to stay away from there, If you go up there on week days the trails are some of the best around, because they keep up on the grooming really well. :div20:

O ya and Jackman is in the Forks right??? Thats so close to Greenvile, how could it be anybetter there???

Id be up to get together and ride in greenville...

making the loop(around moosehead) is a good ride, and lots of offtrails to go play on...

I usually stay at Chalet Moosehead....right near where the road kill cafe used to be, before it got burned to the ground...

Hey man take it easy. It wasn't a busy week and I went during the week not the weekend. Maybe we just hit some bad trails for the whole week :dunno:. I just remeber it was a very cold week. Nothing was going on then because I bet if there was we probably would have seen a lot more sleds. We did find alittle powder fun but nothing to brag about. I don't know if Jackman is in the forks I think its alittle farther north. Whereever it is the trails around town in jackman SUCK. But outside those they are beautiful some of the best maine trails I have ever ridden. I don't know how they could be better maybe we just got lucky in jackman and not so lucky in greenville. I just know that, because of that one bad ride in greenville we will not ride there again any time soon.

Jackman is usualy real good riding, its is northwest of the forks, and a lot less crowded then the forks. The greenville rockwood area is awesome, just like anywhere within 10 miles of town they can get beat bad.want real good riding? head to the crown , from Patten on up and down around thru caribu . Caribu trails are not only financed by the clubs and the state , they are also supported by the city of caribu recreation dept.

Hey if you don't like the riding stay home. It's always smooth riding on the couch. I went riding in the County last january and I destroyed a set of skis, carbides, and sliders in the dirt fields around Presque Isle. Must mean they nevah get any snow up theyuh. I'll never go back there again......NOT.

Yea but come on whats the fun with a couch. Trust me the County gets plenty of snow and they have it for a very long time. That place is awesome riding. I just had a bad expeirence with greenville and the riding wasn't the kind of riding I like to do now. We found a few better places that I like and my family likes more. Probably should go try the county again you must have just hit it at a bad time.
