I bought a 02 zr900 w/ a speedwerx 1000 in it w/ twins, reeds, clutching.

The sled is geared UP one tooth for top end..
If I gear it DOWN one tooth from stock---meaning down 2 from where it's at now..will It make a HUGE difference in 660 foot drags?

My buddy was beating me on his 900 w/ just porting, twins, reeds, clutching.

Do you guys think re-gearing to a lower end gear will make it pull much harder in a 660 drag? Let me know if you have experience w/ this.

I still have my f7 :D

One of the advantages of gearing that sled up is it makes spinning the track a little harder which makes hook up easier thus quicker with a little more top end if clutched right. If you lower the gears and get it to hook up of course it will be quicker
