Sled is a fusion 900.
Putting this head on this evening for a Buddy. I think its an SLP head but didn't really look at it, but the head doesn’t have the fitting for the coolant line. It’s the line that circulates through the throttle bodies.
You can see the hose resting on the head in the pic.
Now I am thinking I could just plug it but how crucial Is it to have the coolant circulating here?
Or I could tie in the the line on the other side?
What’s your thoughts?

@1fastpolaris Have you ever done a helicoil on the engine Head while on the sled? He called me today and said there was a slight leak so he tried to tighten it and stripped the bolt.

I am just worried about shavings getting into the engine but wondering if thats really a concern?
I have never done one before and I don't have to time to go help him fix it so just looking to give him a little direction.

On a head bolt? no I have not. Not saying it cant be done, but wouldn't be a job for a novice. If it was thermostat housing I'd go for it.
