Whats the best way to find out how far I can lean down my F7 without taking it to a dyno? Would a PAC system or a boondocker box be the way to go? I was thinking about clutching my sled and restricting the fuel this year but need some help.

Thanks Guys

im just asking is there any difference leaning out the whole fuel map with the boondocker or just leaning the WOT out with the PAC? you would think leaning out the entire map would make it faster right?

thanks guys

At WOT is were you make your power at the peak RPM's period.. On a f-7 the Boondocker is a little over kill because the factory setting in the mid range are pretty good. The WOT is rich & that's were you want to lean it down at.
The in line jet on a 700 should be 240-250ish to get around 40 lbs @ WOT. The PAC is a great tool for the F-7 but it's a little high price for my blood and the jet trick works great. :div20:

It's no different than jetting a carb sled . Jet it for how you ride. Theres always limits to everything. On my F-7 I ran it @ 42 lbs in the fast trail & long runs & it made 3 more over 45lbs.. On a lake or in a 800-1000 foot run & went to 39 lbs & on the dyno it showed a difference of 5 more ponies but I run 92 gas..

Go get a Digitron from Grip-n-Rip first of all if you are going to fool around with sled, the 2003 sleds are pig rich on top end well mine is i would just get a P.A.C. so you can lean the top end, if you get twin pipes i would get the boondocker box so you lean or richen whereever?????get a Digitron so you know how hot your sled runs, most of my problem was going down the trail mid throttle i had temperatures of 1250-1300, full throttle accross pond i only seen 1150. I never knew that before i had them freindly gauges.
