I have the common problem of front spring rubbing on shock body. I just turned the spring upside down and not the whole shock. I have the wider part on top now and the smaller part on bottom where the threads are.
Will this cure the problem?
Will the smaller part of springs dig into the threaded part of shock now? :banghead:

Its definitly worth a try but its pretty tight in there either way the spring faces.....I've seen shocks come outta the crates some with the spring one way some the other even check around at pics of sleds on here seems like there's no right and wrong on this I don't think. One thing you could try is putting a washer or two on to shim ur shocks out a bit.

Had my shocks replaced under extended warranty because of the rubbing issue.
Not sure who, but somebody makes an extra thick plastic bushing for the shocks
to keep the springs from rubbing. Think you need to epoxy them in place, as they all seem to want to slide down the shock.
