OK...bought a set of used EVOL-Xs for the new snopro chassis late in the spring. Never got a chance to put them on....until tonight. I'm thinking that I got the wrong metal bushing halves as the ones that came with the shocks, when installed on the shock (w/ the o-ring on either side, etc), leave a decent sized gap between the shock and the sled's mounting points. Obviously also leaving a lot of play.... and I'm not about to torque the bolts tight and collapse the mounting tabs. Something's gotta be wrong. So any one who has a set of evol-x's on their 2008-2010 snopro chassis sled, could you reply about the fit when you installed yours ? Also, if you have them off, could you measure the over-all width of the bushing halves (from outer edge to inside edge that goes inside the eye-ball, not diameter of the outside edge). Lastly, I'm guessing Fox would have the correct ones if mine are indeed wrong....but would there be any other place too ?

normally when you buy them they comes with a bunch of different thickness spacers, you should have to squeeze the together to get them to fit in the mounting slot, get ahold of Fox and get the right ones
Did the 08 zero pros have the spherical bearing style mount too ? My 2010 has the plastic bushing/steel sleeve style so I can't use them.
Just looked at the part diagrams for the 600s.....yup, the right spacer/ mounting system is there !!! Another difference with the 500 vs 600 I guess ... the 500s get the plastic spacer mounting system & the 600s get the spherical bearing mounting system. Guess I'll be ordering some part now !
