Well the wife and I went out for a lil putt putt yesterday afternoon... We went from our place here in Wallagrass, Fort Kent to St. John, via 73A, ITS 85 and the rail bed ITS 92... Wallagrass Stream bridge (73A) inaccessible cause of flooding had to use Rt. #11 for a 100 yards or so go around...

ITS 85 has for the most part good snow cover if ya don't jump on the throttle and dig down through... There were a few bare spots and a couple water / slush holes... The trail was groomed but all they can do is " pan it " and not drag and cut cause of the lack of snow... In just panning it leaves the trail kinda bumpy... The rail bed towards St. Francis was good .... The condition of the snow is kinda mealy smashed potatoes and tends to yank the sled around on the steering end of things...

The unplowed woods roads I think would be a hoot but you'll have to watch out for standing water in places.... Colder temps are predicted for this week so that'll make it freeze up better...

Some more info for ya, follow da linky...

Rick,
I didn't get out on the trails during that time but I would have to say it's better up this way anyway... Also with cold temps in the forecast it's got to be better... Freeze up the standing water...

Hey look for "Hartt's Outback" next time by and swing in... Be great ta meet folks from HCS ... :div20: That Wallagrass bridge is about 300 yards from me abode...
