I was told D&D was spotted testing a real F8 up on a lake right by our cabin in Old Forge. Some guys at our cabin told us not sure if I would believe them.

Talked to D&D today, they said they have the F8's at the shop which anyone could test ride. I wish I was closer, they claim they smoke the F7 all the way up!! I'm considering either D&D's version or Black Magics. Both around same price, about $3700. D&D uses the stock exhaust valves and servos, not sure about BM. D&D offers both single and twin pipe versions, currently BM is only single pipe, their twin pipe is race only.

I only have experience with D&D, my uncle and another guy we ride with run them. both are big fans of the product. THe guy we ride with is sort of special customer as well, he does a LOT of business with them. How many people have you ever heard of that D&D just lends an entire Race ECU to? He put that on his wifes 2002 ZL EFI 800 and smoked everyone at the grass drags like they were standing still.

$3700 bucks for a F8 when you know Cat is going to have one.

Makes no sence.
agreed, much rather have the one cat will come out with, warranty and reliability are nice things, as well they will probably make like 1010s for the F8 :)

MO only

3700.00? seriously

You will be able to by used F7's at Haydays this year for a little more. If you want a faster sled, buy a bigger one.
Over the last 5 years, i just want to pull the rope and go.

Take the 3700.00 put it in a CD for 2 years and youll have you big down stroke on a F9 in a couple years.

I must disagree with most of you guys.I currently run a
D.D. 711cc E.F.I. and after getting clutched the way I drive
(hard) the sled is awesome .You state pull the cord and go
second pull every time .Pistons every 2000 miles(2nd ring land wear)
This sled got "500" on the hood and on top end will run with any
triple out there.I made a deal on a new F-6 and it will be pumped also .
Got 2nd last radar run lost by 4kms to 2000T-cat.If they have this
new kit working like my 711 than say good by to the new ones.
just my .02 cents ........P.s it also gets 16+ mpg at 50-70mph trail speed
Cape Breton Stock..................you got pay to play................

Caper 711 I agree with you. Sounds like D&D has theresh*t together on kits. People are saying wait till the new F8 comes out, but I gaurantee that Cat won't have a tunable EFI which D&D currently has and will be selling early April. :D
