Didn't someone write that dealers in Quebec were drilling holes in the thermostats so some coolant was circulating and getting warm, so when when it opened up the Motor wasn't shocked with cold coolant? I'm pretty sure this is why mine blew. Any updates on this fix?

The thermostat already has a weep hole in it for bypass,until the sled warms up fully and the thermostat opens, the coolant is circulated through the head and block.Your burndown was likely bad dealer prep, not the result of a sudden surge of cold water. <_<
