Put 100 miles on the new pistons and jug today, Ran a Rev8x three times to about 100-105, I am running 153 studs, he had 168, these two sleds are close, what can I do to get him in midrange? out of the hole he kills me! This REV8 hooks up great, I have tried sitting way back on the seat and adjusting the blocks, He told me he has some clutching done to the primary only, We switched and the same thing, we both way about the same, 220-240. The REV is different, not bad but not a cat.

The REVs are fast because the new design gives them incredible hookup (see Dana's F5 posts for another example). They waste very little power and REV owners get the hookup with very little suspension tweaking. Even with the 100cc spot, I think you still have a power advantage. You need to find a suspension set-up to maximize your hookup. Once you launch like he is, you won't need to worry about mid-range in my opinion...Marc
