First off, the problems you heard were the problems that were fixed under warranty, all of the recall issues. I have a 2003 F7 with 3100 miles that I have yet to open the hood on except to add oil. The thing is flat out awesome and the EFI is the way too go. I am selling it due to I just bought a left over 2005 F7 EFI. Buy one and you won't regret it. Just my .02.
