The performance manual(page 5-2) states that a sled with a 10 tooth drive sprocket and a chaincase gear combo of 22/41(stock on F7) should be running a 74P chain.

When looked up in the parts catalog, the listing for the gears on the F7 is indeed 22 top and 41 bottom, but the chain is a 72P?? What is actually in our F7's for a chain length? Does this meant that if the 72P chain is what is in the F7's is already on the tight side and that if we drop the gearing down that if a 70P chain is what is reccomended that we should actually be running a 72P after gearing down?? Thanks.

The specifications on page 1-9 of the performance manual state it is a 72 pitch chain.

the F7 chain case uses the standard chain gear combos. The performance manual I think has the chart for the goofy sno pro case. The speed values are wacky too.
