I have an F7 carb sled that is filling the air boot with about a pint of oil. Seems to be an intermittent condition. Could aftermarket injection oil cause this problem?.
Have been told it is "normal" to a defective oil tank cap to the check valves on the oil pump. all have been checked or replaced. What am I missing?

Some oil is normal but that is a little excessive. Sounds like the check valves in your injector lines are leaking...it's a common problem.

Does it still do it throughout the year when your riding it or just from sitting over the summer? It's fairly normal to get oil pooling from sitting over extended periods due to the oil seeping past the check valves but during the year with normal use pooling/leakage should be minimal.
