THe F6 is real close to the F7 in 1000' and I have KILLED Rev600's like they are broke. So, I say the F6 will blow the REV600 away in 1000. We'll see, it will be intresting.

I've heard of f-5s spanking Rev 600's. No doubt, f6 would smoke it.
You heard wrong.........I have heard the F6 has more on the big end than the 600 HO......but an F5 isnt near the HO

To start I am a ski-doo guy....I don't like going on other sites and talk crap...you people have to be nuts to think a 98 h.p. f5 can even come close to a 120 h.p. rev 600 h.o....mabe...mabe in 500 f.t. if the f5 gets a jump but after that it's all over ... think about it...unless you are in a short field with alot of snow and no traction...nobody is going to hook up....normal conditions the rev wins every time...I pull them up to 10-15 sleds at the end of a lone lake ....lets be realistic

We have an F7, 600 Rev, and just added a F5. I'll let you know the results after this weekend. My Dad put 100 miles on the F5 on Tuesday, said its like mini me (compared to the F7) and doesn't feel nearly as strong as the Rev above 40 MPH. He weighs 250 pounds I weigh 160 so I'm sure I'll give him a good run on the F5. We also have a ZL800 which the Rev runs with all the way to 105 mph if I'm on the Rev, so I'm not expecting a 500 miracle. I'll post results Monday.

Let's be more precise...

The F5 has 104 HP and the Rev 600 HO has been shown to be 114-117 depending on where you find your information (since Ski-Doo will NOT post it - scared ?).

Also, the REV does come in 15-18 pounds heavier than the F5 (check the magazines).

I have seen it happen many times, that an F5 has BEATEN a REV 600 HO

If you really think about it, 100cc larger, big carbs...having only 10 more HP...something is not right there.

The F6 with 128 HP must STOMP on the REV !!

personally the f-5 is a joke and will not touch a rev 600. My mom has an sxr 600 which is a dog and the f-5 barely beat it. So there is no way that they will beat a rev 6 ho unless the rev 6 has poor top end.

Where did you get that info.

Rev6 118hp = F6 118 hp.

I would guess they are very close. I know the revs are VERY quick down low and I know the F Cats are good on top end. All things equal it should be close. The F6 will not be the destroyer that the F7 is.

The F6 Beats the Rev by 2 lengths in 660feet,But F5 isn't even close if both machines are stock.Personally I've driven an F5 and thought it performed poorly, not what i expected at all.

Sorry, the 128 was meant to be a 118....

Basically, We are talking an EFI engine vs. a large carb engine in a heavier sled.

Technically, F6s should win the 600 class.

600HO 114-117hp....probably true.

You really show your blind brand loyalty to not admit the 600 HO makes damn good power.
