Changing bottom gear on standard F-5. Any Ideas? Thinking about a 39 tooth to keep bottom end and give me a little more on top. Also what does V Force 3 Do for preformance? Who has the best clutch kit?
Dont do v-force,f-5s dont need enough more air to see too much for perfomance gains. If the sled were 700 cc or bigger, it would be a go. Clutch kits, my favorite is speedwerx, but goodwin, and d&d is good too. Just stay away from black magic. I am thinking of going 20-39 gearing on mine for a try, but with the ten tooth driver, I think it may be too steep. If you compare gear charts in 2003 performance manual with cat 9 tooth vs 10 tooth driver, the f-5 is already geared higher than the 2001-2002 zr 5's were.
feels like my sled is geared a lil low also, gets from 0 - 90 in a heartbeat, 95 quick and maxes out all fairly quick? So if thats stock geraing on my f7 pro, what would you recommend to keep me first off the line and add a lil more tope end?
