F-5 gas leak at tank outlet

Has anyone with an F-5 had any problems with a gas leak at the outlet fitting on the tank? This problem has shown up after 40 miles of riding. I removed all gas from tank and have not had a chance to repair. The outlet is sealed to tank with teflon tape and clamped to the hose with a plastic clamp. I will pick up a new outlet and a real worm drive clamp first.

Yep. My brothers did, and it has not been on a trail yet. 0 miles so far. the dealer turned the fitting in tighter and cut the fuel line and then reclamped it. so far no leak.

i had the liner put in the neck of the gas tank and the out let fixed before last season over a 1000 miles on it and no problem.
I had my tank replaced two years ago under warrenty, this is a recall for a safety issue. My still leaks a very little bit just a real bad design.
the dealer replaced mine (nc) gas was leaking on my boot...
