I am just wondering how much power the Arctic Cat temperate guage and heated shield draw while both are working. I see in the performance manual that if you draw more than 4 amps extra the computer will go into limp mode. If I run with the guage, shield and handwarmers on high would it be enough to make this happen? How can I test to see how much power the above are drawing?

I don't have the gauge, but I run my heated shield and hand and thumb warmers on high often (cold winter) and I haven't seen a problem..

the gauge takes only like 10 watts to run. dont worry about it. the gauge has a really small light bulb. and the gauge itself takes very little.

Bottom line- dont worry about it. unless you start adding more high draw components.
