It appears that according to thread F-6 vs F-7 , the Early Build F-6 is quite a bit faster than the later F-6s. We all know that's something manufacturers would do to help sales of a particualar model get going. S..o.. What makes the EB faster? Has anyone disected one of those to find out why! For a 6 to run with the 7s it must be something substantial

What makes the EB-6 faster?

I was told it also had to do with the exhaust can. Not sure if that's true or not, but when I thought about selling mine I had a lot of people very horny to buy it. I decided to keep it in case I ever took the MBRP can off. Not sure if theres anything to that or not, but it's what I was told.

the EB's are lighter, had 10t drivers, and better flowing silencer, they may have had a little leaner map as well. They are faster, and the hot ticket if you want to go drag racing

Krom; do you think those things add up to enough diff to allow a 6 to run with the 7 as stated in F-6 vs F-7 thread :dunno:
Doesn't seem like enough to add 20hp :dunno:

The EB F6 has been dynoed consistantly around 120hp. The F7 has consistantly been dynoed at 132-134hp. The EB F6 clutching was nearly spot on from the factory, while the '04 F7 clutching was overeving quite a bit. Put them up stock for stock in a 660' run, the EB F6 was side by side with the '04 F7 the whole way...
