For anyone whom has not seen other posts, here is what is being brought to you. Four courses were set up in MN and all sold out, no one came away saying it was a waste, it is time well worth spent. This is a corse tailored to the flatlander whom wants to make a trek out west to find snow, be safe and think about the ones you leave behind and take the course.

Class update:
You must sign up in advance to reserve a seat in the class. Our last class in Minneapolis sold out. Please give Jason a call at 715-617-3644. Here's more information on the class.
Avalanche Classes
Specifically for snowmobilers

We bring the classes to you at the
World Championship Snowmobile Derby.
Eagle River, WI January 18-20
Hosted by Hiawatha Motor Inn

Four hour avalanche awareness, avoidance and rescue class.

Learn: how to avoid the most common mistakes, what equipment works best, how to rescue effectively, evaluate terrain, avoid terrain traps, and increase your skills in the mountains.
Instructor: Mike Duffy. Level I & II Avalanche instructor Colorado Mountain College, rescue/avalanche team leader Vail Mountain Rescue Group, instructor Walter Kirch Avalanche Seminars, graduate of National Avalanche School, National Academy of Winter Guiding. Mountain Snowmobiler for 20 years.

-Preparing for your trip west
