Can I disconnect the oil injection on my wildcat 700?

How do I do this? If I disconnect all the cables and plug the lines do I have to worry about lubricating the water puomp bearing?

Anyone else done this?

There are alot of ways to disconnect your pump. 1. you could pull both lines off the intakes and tee the together- then run the oil line back into the tank . that would just circulate the oil and you could hook it back up some day if you decided to. 2. Just let the oil tank go dry while you have pre-mix in your fuel tank. I'm not sure if the pump would be damaged if it ran dry though. 3. They may sell an aftermarket block off plate so that you could just remove the oil pump. Why do you want to remove the oil injection any way? My old Wildcat ( 93) was kind of an oil hog until I adjusted it............tigger
