It's no secret that they all fudge their weights. Remember when the 03 F7 came out it was supposed to weigh like 435 lbs or something dry. Ended up at 475. Still light but no 435 lbs.

Any weights that are within ~20 lbs I would consider close to accurate claims by the manu. considering that most likely the antifreeze, oil, shock oil is still in there and the manu's weight is usually an educated guess based on the preproduction models with zero fluids added. Some slack in the weight difference has to be given.

Given that, poo and cat's existing chassis and the one doo listed seem fair. The new cat's and the yammies are way off, cat may change their weights in their 08 advertising maybe not, and yamaha has had plenty of time to correct their advertised weight.

why the hell do they always weigh the LXR, i couldn't give a shit less about E start. Wish they had a regular trail sled with out the e-start, but i still want the adjustable bars and maybe the seat.

It was a Jaguar he weighed, as far as I remember.
