Did you trim your PTO spark plug wire?

In the fall when people started taking delivery of their Firecats, some people posted a issue with the PTO side spark plug wire being too long and rubbing on the steering post. They suggested shortening the length and re-routing it in front of the steering post instead of the way it came from the factory(behind the steering post).

My question is, if the PTO spark plug wire has been shortened for the above mentioned issue, will it cause a problem for rotating the coil to correct the in-accurate tachometer reading? Thanks.

Jleo,

Keeping in mind the you rotate it CLOCKWISE not end for end, your wires would have to be cut real short not to have them fit.

Im sure you know, but the wires will still come out the same side (pointing to the driver.
