Is it worth driving up from Halifax, for a run up in the mountians?

I wouldn't say so! We were up Saturday and it was just good enough for a drive to get the itch scratched! It started to rain when we were leaving, and some of the guys from up that way posted in another topic that it was like +10 and they got some rain as well!

Drove up as far as km 18 yesterday and it is a mix of snow/slush/ice on about half the road with the other half gravel from about km 4 up. If it would freeze and we get a bit of snow it wouldn't be too bad. Not great but not bad.
