Check out dynotechresearch.com. I think Scott norine's was about 165, with stock pipe.

Just found it! peak of 165.7 at 8000. Over 165 from 7800 to 8000. Torque over 110 from 7600 to 7900. This was tweaked pretty lean for lake racing. Trail safe power probably closer to 160. New y-pipe should add a few more hp.

how reliable is the kit. Would it be ok for the guy who puts on 2500 miles a year. Mostly trail riding, ofcourse some racing.

Stock pipe sleds have been very reliable. 2500 miles is getting up there for wiscoes, you may want to consider the optional cast pistons.

why wont forged pistions last as long as cast? I always thought that forged were more durable than cast after the engine has been warmed up??

No big deal. They are stronger and lighter, but they seem to deform more than cast on high miles. I would think about freshening up any high performance sled, after 2500 miles. Its really just a matter of preference.

I didnt know that...I guess that could be why OEM use cast ...just a better high mile pistion and retard...I mean consumer friendly.

Motor stuff is $3036 no exchange (keep your stock stuff). You will need a boondocker, too ($389).

Don't know offhand. I think they did one dyno test with monster single on f8. I think it was 168hp, but don't remember the torque. I will try to find out and post.
