Well i know where they are in general, but on the twins( 02 prox600 in my case) are they part of what holds the water pump on? Or are they further below that? took them off a xlt a few times, and they were clear as day...Thanks
I know on the 700 twin they are very hard to get at. Had to take the y pipe off to get a wrench in there. They are pretty small plug as well. I would imagine yours would be in the same spot. Try sticking your hand in from the side to feel for them.
Pulled one plug(i think just above and to the left side of the water pump, kinda right in the middle of the plate but nothing came out...not sure if that was one of them...hmm
yea theres 2 of them ones pto and ones mag there 8 mm they are a pain to get too and nothing will come out if there is nothing in there try taking an air gun inside the exhaust ports and forcing it out, wut r you trying to get out anyways?
The reason i wanted to know, i was having trouble getting my sled to start. From past experiences, i knew fluid in the crankcase can give you startup troubles...Wanted to elimnate that as a cause...Turned out being a bad tether setup...
