I'm changing all my bearing on a 2003 F7 and i'm confused about where the o-ring goes on the chaincase side. Does it go on first and then the bearing and cup or does the bearing go on and then the o-ring and cup? Have been getting conflicting suggestions. Thanks for replys!!

For extra insurance against a leak, apply RTV to outer race of bearing which seals up to chaincase, then install O ring, then flange plate. Be sure bearing is not cocked when you evenly tighten the nuts.
